Activities
Nature Walk
As a community, we will take a nature walk, work on identifying plants and animals and make entries into our nature journals.
Rain Plan: In the event of hard rain, we will pivot to indoors and read from one of Arabella Buckley's "Eyes and No Eyes" series and narrate and discuss together, making nature journal entries as appropriate.
Brush Drawing (Watercolors)
Children ages 6+ will learn the basics of brush drawing in nature. This technique is a form of watercolors where the paint is used to "draw" items rather than painting as many traditionally think of doing.
Teacher: Lauren Rupar has been teaching handicrafts, including brush drawing, for the last five years and has over 20 years of experience with watercolors.
Bonus Events
We will have several seasonal activities through the year in addition to our weekly school year meet-ups on Fridays.
Summer Splash Meet-ups
We will meet at a beach, splash pad or pool to cool down and have fun!
St. Nicholas Celebration
Our Friday meeting in December we will have a St. Nicholas party for the entire community. Detail TBD!

Moms and Dads are invited to an evening of food, fun and fellowship at Lauren's Home in Mt. Holly. Save the Date: Saturday, December 12! Formal invite will go out in November.
