Veritas et Virtus Learning a Catholic homeschool co-op located in Denver, NC. Our vision is to see children grow into thoughtful, joyful, and faithful disciples of Christ — persons who think deeply, love generously, and live purposefully in the world.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2026-27 School Year. 

  • Children learn through beautiful books and meaningful ideas.

  • Students are encouraged to think deeply, love generously, and live purposefully.

  • Parents are supported and loved as we learn alongside our children and each other.

  • Learning feels joyful, natural, and full of wonder.

  • Families grow together in faith, wisdom, and virtue.

2026-27 Classes

FORM 1 (GRADES 1-3)

  • Geography: Catholics Around the World

    • Learn about how Catholics live around the world, including map work & immersion activities.

  • Art & Handicrafts

    • Covers various handicrafts including brush drawing & paper sloyd plus formal art lessons.

  • Modern Language (Spanish or French, TBD)

    • Learn conversational skills through stories, picture study, and songs.

  • Nature Study

    • Learn about God's creation through immersive stories, nature walks, and journaling.

  • Tae Kwon Do

    • Learn basic Taekwondo techniques, while improving strength, confidence, and coordination.

FORM 2 (GRADES 4-6)

  • Government

    • Learn and discuss the structure of our country's government from the founding to modern laws.

  • Art & Handicrafts

    • Covers various handicrafts including brush drawing & paper sloyd plus formal art lessons.

  • Modern Language (Spanish or French)

    • Learn conversational skills through stories, picture study, and songs.

  • Science

    • Learn to observe and build a relationship with the world, from science history to modern science topics.

  • Tae Kwon Do

    • Learn basic Taekwondo techniques, while improving strength, confidence, and coordination.

FORM 3 (GRADES 7-9)

  • Catholic Literature & Morality

    • Read & discuss biographies and writings of the Saints; make connections in faith, morality, & ethics.

  • Art & Handicrafts

    • Covers various handicrafts including brush drawing & paper sloyd plus formal art lessons.

  • Modern Language (Spanish or French)

    • Learn conversational skills through stories, picture study, and songs.

  • Science

    • Immersive lessons with labs help students dive deep into various science topics.

  • Economics

    • Learn & discuss how our economic system functions including inflation, supply & demand, & more.
